Our Purpose: Worship at St. Bride's

Worship Ministries

St. Bride's Choir ( September - June) Rehearsals - Thursdays 7:30 PM
The Choir is a group of committed worshippers who love to sing. They minister once or twice each month at the 10:00 AM service. They also sing on special occasions and during Advent, Christmas, Holy Week and Easter.

Sonshine Choir (September - June)
Our Children's Choir sings during worship several times throughout the year (approximately once a month). Please note that your child does NOT need to know how to read words or music.

Praise Team (September - June) Rehearsals - Thursdays 6:15 PM
The Praise Team leads contemporary worship music on the third Sunday of the month at the 10:00 AM service and occasionally at other times. If you love to worship God with music, and sing or play an instrument, please consider joining us. Reading music is helpful but not required. All ages welcome!

Handbell Choir (September - June) Rehearsals - Fridays 6 PM
Using a 3 octave Handbell set, this unique choir makes beautiful music! All ages are welcome and the ability to read music is NOT required.

Soloists and Other Special Music
If you have a special musical gift that you would like to offer for the glory of God during worship services, but do not feel you can commit to a regular group, please speak to one of the music directors, a warden or one of our clergy.

Servers' Guild
Servers carry the cross during the processional and recessional hymns, help the minister during Communion, and collect the offering plates at the end of the offertory hymn.

Chancel Guild
The dedicated members of the Chancel Guild look after the church linens and vessels, ensure that everything is set up and ready for each service and keep the Chancel area clean and tidy for all services.

Readers, Layreaders and Chalice Bearers
Lay members of the congregation share in the regular ministry of Sunday services by reading scripture, leading the prayers of the people and administering the chalice during communion services. Training is provided.

Sidespeople assist with seating, hand out bulletins before the church services and collecting the offering during the service.
